How to use this weekly time blocking template
Time blocking is planning the week in chunks — deep work, meetings, admin, rest — instead of a running to-do list. This printable block schedule uses 30-minute rows so those chunks line up on one page.
- 1. Print blank, or type blocks first. Most people download the empty PDF and write by hand. Recurring deep-work and meeting blocks can be clicked in on the grid, then exported as a filled-in printable.
- 2. Block the big rocks, then the rest. Put focus time on the calendar first. Fill meetings, lunch, and admin around it. The 30-minute rows are there so a 90-minute block is three cells, not a guess.
- 3. Weekdays by default — switch to 7 days if you need them. The template starts Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Use the Days control for a full weekly time blocking layout, or stretch the hours if your week starts earlier.
- 4. Reuse it next week. Change the “week of” date and download again, or photocopy a blank master. Letter and A4, landscape or portrait.
